We're two moms who spent careers in education and technology and still had to figure out AI for our own families. That's why we built this.
Co-Learning AI Labs are small-group, hands-on experiences where you learn AI together with the people who matter: your daughter, your peers, your community. Everyone has hands on the keyboard the whole time.

VirtualCo-Learning AI Labs for GenX Women
Curious about AI but not interested in becoming an AI expert? This small, hands-on Lab is designed for Gen X women who want to understand what these tools can actually do for them. We'll experiment together, ask questions, compare what works and what doesn't, and explore practical ways AI can help with work, home, planning, creativity, and the everyday mental load. No expertise required. Just bring your questions and curiosity.
Limited to 10 women so everyone has room to experiment, ask questions, and get help.
When: October 7, 2026 from 5:30–7:00 pm
Where: Virtual
Cost: $25

What you'll need: A laptop and a ChatGPT or Claude account. Free accounts are fine.

In personCo-Learning AI Labs for moms and teen daughters
A mother and daughter vibe coding workshop — using AI to build real tools together in plain English, no coding experience needed.
When: Sunday, October 18, 2026 from 3:00–5:00 pm
Where: The Loop Coworking (Alexandria, VA)
Cost: $60 mom + 1 daughter, $75 mom + 2 daughters
Group size: Mom + daughter pairs
What you'll need: At least one laptop per pair and mom's ChatGPT or Claude account. Free accounts are fine.

In personVirtualCo-Learning AI Labs for parents of younger tweens/teens (11-14)
For parents navigating AI with younger tweens and teens. Learn where AI is showing up in their lives, the guardrails, and ways to co-learn, co-create and connect at home.
When: Thursday, November 12 from 6:30-8 pm ET

Group size: Limited to 20 parents and caregivers

Co-Learning AI Labs can be designed for the people who are already learning, working, parenting, or making decisions together. We create hands-on experiences for parent groups, community organizations, workplaces, and other groups that want to explore AI together in a practical, human-centered way.

Co-Learning Labs is led by Julie Kelleher and Dr. Elizabeth Hoover, two Alexandria moms who spent careers at the intersection of education and technology.
